Meet Wendy

Wendy’s interest in Ashtanga Yoga started 18 years ago and after trying many yoga styles, she established a regular Ashtanga practice in 2016.

Last year Wendy completed an Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training Course which gave her an even deeper understanding of the practice and how to apply it to daily life.

Wendy is keen to share this knowledge and help build a community of likeminded people by being encouraging and uplifting in her teaching style.She hopes that people will get more than just yoga when they attend her classes and workshops.

Feedback from a recent retreat at Aiowera Retreat Centre in West Auckland  co-created with mindfulness coach Maya Nova.

“Wendy complimented Maya’s practice perfectly. She had the same calming ‘energy’ and the same generosity of spirit was carried through to her classes seamlessly. It was great doing the 2 different types of yoga that Wendy led (Ashtanga and Yin) – nice contrast and at the right times. Wendy currently teaches four classes a week at Tea and Tonic Studio in Matakana and private sessions.
